1. Get All the healthy minerals which are essential for your body:

Go with green vegetables and even colourful vegetables and fruits like carrot, spinach, cabbage, broccoli. Make sure to add them to your diet. You can also include foods which are rich in the omega-3 fatty acids. It will provide your body with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants which prevents most of the eye problems.


2. Sunglasses are important than you think:  

You think sunglasses are just for style and to look cool in front of your friends. But you might not know the fact that sunglasses protect your eyes from Ultraviolet-A and Ultraviolet-B rays. Many vision-related problems such as cataracts and macular degeneration are caused by the harmful rays from the Sun. Next time choose sunglasses that block the UV rays at least 99%. 

3. Don't touch or rub your eyes frequently:

When you continuously rub or touch your eyes, that makes your eyes vulnerable to infection.
Make sure if you touch your eyes then your hands should be clean. Rubbing your eyes may lead to corneal abrasion i.e. your cornea may be scratched. You should wash your eyes with saline solution or even clear water if something has gotten in your eyes.

You can apply black tea bags on your closed eyes to get rid of dark circles.



5. Use cold-water dipped cotton balls:

This is another method to get rid of dark circles. Take cotton balls and dip it in chilled water. Keep it on your closed eyes for 7-10 minutes. 

6. Keep sliced cucumber over your eyes:

This might be the most common tip you have heard about eyes. Cucumbers work like heaven on your eyes. They not only have cooling properties in them but also they help to get rid of dark circles. Just place two sliced pieces cucumber on eyes for 5-10 minutes while you listen to music.

When you are working on your computer or laptop, make sure that your room is well lit properly and see that the screen brightness should not be more than your room light. This will lower the stress on your eyes.

8. Take 15-20 minutes break while working:

Do not sit in front of the screen for too long. Take 15-20 minutes break from working. In this time you can take a walk around your place or just make coffee. This will improve your eyes' ability to focus.

9. Blink:

While working in front of the screen you quite often forget to blink. When you blink, your eyes get lubricated and provides moisture. If you don't blink your eyes might get dry eyes syndrome.

Wearing a computer lens while working helps to protect your eyes from the eye infection.

11. Quit Smoking:

While quitting smoking is not only good for your eyes but also for your overall health. Smokers are more vulnerable to eye problems and irritation then non-smokers. So quit smoking now only.
